Amazon Plans For Smartphone
Amazon is reportedly planing the development of a new smartphone to compete with Samsung and Apple. Amazon is working with Chinese based Foxconn International and getting aggressive on patent acquisitions. This is a major step forward for the digital download giant and can give them another leg up on digitally delivers goods. I think the first Amazon phone will likely be very thin, have a large screen for viewing digital media and run on an Android OS.
Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) is developing a smartphone that would vie with Apple Inc. (AAPL)’s iPhone and handheld devices that run Google Inc.
