Could Bond 25 be Daniel Craig’s best James Bond movie?

Until recently, there was speculation that Daniel Craig would not play the role of James Bond anymore. Comments from fellow co-actors had suggested that the 49-year-old English actor was ready to quit playing the world’s most well-known spy due to intense pressure. Craig has confirmed that he will play the role of 007 one last time and then he will quit. Who the next James Bond will be is anybody’s guess – Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, and Tom Hiddleston all have been mentioned – but what we can say for sure is that Craig will be the super-spy from Great Britain in Bond 25.

Bond 25 is due to be released in 2019. Although the official plot line has yet to be released, there are reports that it will be based on the 2001 book Never Dream Of Dying by Raymond Benson. The book is about Bond trying to take on the Union once and for all when a police raid goes horribly wrong. One of the main and most intriguing characters in the book is Tylyn Mignonne, a movie star with a sordid past. Another interesting leak about Bond 25 is that it will feature a new Beyoncé track.

Daniel Craig has been a superb James Bond. Not only has the Englishman lent a certain elegance and charisma to the character but he has also made him very appealing, modern, and relevant in the 21st century without losing the old-fashioned chivalry. Given that Bond 25 is going to be Craig’s final outing as James Bond, one can be sure that he is going to give his all and make it his best. Moreover, the producers and the filmmakers will want to send Craig off on a high.

It is going to be hard, though, for Craig and the director(s) to make a better James Bond movie than Casino Royale. It was also the Englishman’s first outing as the super-spy and he played it to perfection. Not only was the storyline was one of the best, most intriguing and most encapsulating of all the James Bond movies, but it also featured well-developed characters.

For example, Eva Green plays one of the best and most enchanting of Bond Girls ever seen on screen. Then there were the scenes in casinos. Not only did they show an entirely different and glamorous side to gambling but they also underlined just how fun it can be to play a bit of poker or roulette. One of the many casino games that James Bond has inspired is PocketWin’s Jackpot Agent, which can be tried with the website’s £5 free play bonus from the Oddschecker website. Released in 2015, Spectre is the last James Bond. The movie centres on Bond taking on global criminal organisation Spectre and their leader Ernst Stavro Blofeld. The action is gargantuan and leaves the audience speechless, while the plotlines are also quite elaborate and convoluted. Christoph Waltz plays the role of the villain perfectly, although perhaps he could have been developed a bit better and more time could have been given to him. There is a certain degree of ‘retro’ in this film, which was probably done intentionally to give it a different feel.

Although it is going to be hard for Craig to replicate his success in Casino Royale, fans should be optimistic about Bond 25 being a great film. After all, there are still two years left for the movie to be released. Given that this is going to be the last James Bond movie for Craig, he is certainly going to make it the best he can. The filmmakers are also going to make sure that the English actor gets a proper farewell, and that the stage is set for a new James Bond to take over.

In the coming months we will get to know more about the plot and then we will get a better sense of what to expect from Bond 25. The noises at the moment are all positive, and one can only be optimistic and expectant that the fifth James Bond movie featuring Daniel Craig is going to be his best ever. The James Bond franchise is one of the biggest in the world and the films rarely disappoint, if ever.

Cufflinks

Cufflinks are an essential part of any formal outfit, but before you rush out to buy a pair, there are a few things you need to consider. Firstly, you’ll need to make sure the shirt you intend to wear is suitable for cufflinks and without button-fastening cuffs.

Next, determine the type of fastening you’d like, with each offering different fit levels. Here are a few:

  • Bullet back and toggle—one of the most common fastenings, this type of cufflink has a small metal rod. It is pushed through the cufflink hole and rotated 90 degrees to fasten. It’s widely regarded as the most secure cufflink.
  • Chain link cufflink — this traditional fastening features two pieces of rectangular metal attached by a chan. It generally offers a looser fastening than the bullet back.

When choosing cufflinks, remember that they are accessories to your look and not the focal point. Choose sleek, subtle cufflinks that will add to your overall look, rather than detracting from it. Tie clips

Finish your formal look with a pocket square. As a general rule of thumb, you should co-ordinate your pocket square with your tie. Pick out an accent colour on the tie and carry it throughout the square. The colours don’t have to be an exact match — doing so can make your look seem more like a uniform than a chic gentlemanly ensemble.

The Prison Workout

One of the rare stories I have read of late is that of a British prisoner named Charles Salvador. He has been behind bars since 1974. However, rather than rot away in his cell, he is actually gaining from it. He is today famous for setting many prison fitness records such as making 1,727 push-ups in one hour! In short, he uses his serving time to build his body using a few odd objects and only his body weight.


You do not have to be in prison to have a prison workout schedule: maybe you lack the facilities. Salvador can bend a steel cell door with his bare hands and pick up a pool table from working out in prison! Did I forget to say that he uses no nutritious foods, no barbells and no supplements?
Here is his prison workout routine:

Push-ups

According to Salvador, he performs about 2,000 push-ups every single day. He advises that if you start by doing 10 of them a day then keep adding just 5 every day, you can get to his level within 1 year. He also advises on using different push-up variations.

Pull-ups

The pull-up workout is the second that our Hulk prisoner uses. He says that pull-ups are important in that they involve multiple muscles such as the forearm muscles, the pecs, traps, wing (back) muscles and the biceps. They are most effective if you hang from a place and use variations.

Squats

I personally never tried squats because they appear very basic. However, after learning that they are one of the most effective workouts from Salvador, I have been capitalizing on them. I never knew that they work the hamstrings, inner thighs, hips, glutes and quads all in one workout! Using variations also boosts their effectiveness.

Dips

The dips, in my opinion, are very tough, but, once you get accustomed to them, they are very effective. Salvador says that the dips work his core, forearms, shoulders, pecs and triceps. Rather than vary them, he adds some weights to his laps to make the exercise more intense and effective.

Hanging leg raises

If you agree with me, this workout is very popular with action movies that involve bodybuilders like Jason Statham. You get a firm support then hoist your body. This exercise works the shoulders, forearms, hips and quads. Look for the variations to get the best results.

Burpees

The prison workout burpees might be the newest workout in our list. To do it, you start in a squatting position, placing your hands in front of you (on the floor). Then you kick the feet to assume a push-up position then immediately return to the squatting pose. Once you achieve the position, leap as high as you can from that position. This workout will test your aerobic capacities and body strength. I never used this prison workout before, but I can tell the results immediately after I am done with the first set.

Salvador showed us how to do a prison workout that might see you lift that pool table all by yourself and bending the steel doors when you get locked in for it! However, it is best to adhere to his prison workout routine without getting into trouble. Maybe the benefits are much better out here.

Tech and Gear Essentials for the Digital Nomad

I am excited and proud to have to write that I am proudly part and parcel of the digital nomad movement. Concisely, I belong to the group of people that rely on technology to earn their living and who are always on the move. You might find it tricky that we rely on technology yet keep moving. However, we are witty enough to understand our lifestyles and, therefore, select a style that suits us. So, allow me to introduce the typical tech and gear essentials that we, digital nomads, mostly use.

Camera gear

I have a collection of photos comprising of close to a million images, collected over four years. We love to keep memories of every place that we have been to, thus, the camera. However, we do not go for the normal cameras: we prefer motion lenses, waterproof mirrorless cameras, and those that print photos on the spot.

Laptops

What is technology without a computer, really? Well, we do not carry PCs along with us, rather, we (or I) prefer laptops. Laptops are light, powerful and self-contained. As long as we can find them the power, they give back wholeheartedly.

Smartphones

At times, the laptops, too, become too big for some occasions. For instance, at some meetings, or when at a basic party, some of us still need to check our emails, update clients and remain aloof with what we do. In such instances, we use powerful smartphones to do that for us. Compromising our demanding careers is never an option for us.

Portable power packs

I think this should have been at the top of my list: portable power sources. Well, here we are. In some cases, we are never sure about where our next stops will be. Therefore, I, just like everyone else, carry several portable power banks. These have to be very efficient such that one can have hours of uninterruptible power. If you have two or more, the better.

Wireless devices

Wires can inconvenience a digital nomad in many ways. At times, they tangle up everything in my bad, sometimes, they make the bags too huge. Worst of all, they limit freedom. In my case, I prefer using a wireless (Bluetooth) mouse, ear set, microphone, speaker, modem and keyboard. Wireless devices are easier to manage but require more power, and, if you are careless, you need more money to keep replacing them!

eReaders

Who said nomads do not have libraries or do not read the news? I love books, yes, but, I hate the fact that they take up a lot of space, can be cumbersome and are hard to find. In our nomadic world, however, we have eReaders that allow us to access just any e-book or newspaper and read them, anywhere! Call me the man that carries all the books in the world in his backpack!

As a young man, one of the most persistent thoughts on my mind is building my man cave. No, not a literal cave in the hills! A man cave is simply a man’s special space that if full of all the things he loves, where he can get entertained and just enjoy his own time. Unlike a bar or any other entertainment place, this cave is personal. That said, here are some incredible man cave ideas to transform that space into a kingdom!

Building a man cave

Building a man cave should be fun and not stressing or rushed. I think this is the place where you source for the best things and bring them. Therefore, make it unique and not a small house. For instance, do not buy the regular sofas and stash them there. Do not buy a cooker not unless it’s for the outdoor barbecue. In place of cooking, use bodies such as the Man Cave Craft Meats that supply you with ready-to-eat foods anytime, anywhere, in the exact quantity that you want. In short, have fun. Do not survive in there!

Man cave gadgets

Gadgets are my favorite ideas of a man cave’s accessories. Have as many as you can and transform into a king. One of them is a mini fridge that holds some beers or your favorite drinks. A massage chair comes in handy when you want to relax and unwind. Third, find a storage ottoman where you relax not only your feet but also hide your valuable stuff such as lighters, TV remotes, snacks or anything you prefer to have full control over. The list is endless: think wider.

The man cave bar

If you build a man cave bar for your little kingdom, you have the power to customize your “pub” as you wish. Unlike the local, where you are limited by time, space, choice of music, the congestion and availability of drinks, here, you rule. Make everything to suit your tastes and show the other men what your creativity is capable of doing. However, this is one bar that might suffer from female deficiency!

Man cave gaming

If you thought sports and games are only played outside, then you’ve not heard about the Man Cave Arcade gaming machine.
