3 Epic Bachelor Party Ideas That Don’t Involve The Club

Entertainment

Something that has always puzzled me about bachelor parties that I have been on, was their insistence on spending it in a nightclub. This is not to say that I don’t enjoy going to the club, on the contrary in fact, but we can do that just about any weekend that we choose, and a bachelor party should be celebrated as the special event that it really is. If you are going to be the best man for one of your friends ahead of their upcoming nuptials, we have a few ideas for you which will ensure an epic bachelor party, without needing a night club.

Olympics

Last year I went to a brilliant bachelor party which was essentially a mini-Olympic games. Of course when we refer to Olympic, the only similarities are probably the medals which were handed out, as the events were very different. The beauty of spending a day like this with your friends is that you can all indulge in stupid and at-times, dangerous games, whilst enjoying a drink, a laugh, and some heavy competition. The events are completely up to you and the group, you could even organize an axe-throwing tournament!

Sporting Adventures

The competition doesn’t have to be an Olympic-style event, you could still get some sporting kicks by heading out on an adventure day with your troop. some great ideas which fall under this category are to go paint balling, play some laser tag or even head out on some go karts. These adventures are brilliant because they take everyone out of their comfort zone, and also you get to mix people who may not know each other too well. Make sure that if you plan on taking on something like this, that you plan well ahead of time because big groups often need to reserve well in advance. If the aforementioned options don’t tickle your fancy, you could always look at something such as raft building or team building activities that are similar. Most companies that offer  team building activities work with corporations, so you may have to spread your net far to find the right people to help you out.

Gaming Days

Strangely, one of the best days that I have spent on a bachelor party was a gaming day, despite not thinking I would enjoy it. If you and the boys are into video games, why not set up a gaming centre where you have a range of consoles and games, with a competition model set up. Split the boys into teams, get some food and refreshments in, and then start early in the morning, and game until you fingers don’t work anymore. I honestly thought that I wouldn’t enjoy a party like this, but when done right, it can go off brilliantly!

Don’t just go to the club when the time comes to organize a bachelor party, think outside of the box and let your imagination run wild, there are many options in front of you.
